Welcome to Pinnamark. Pinnamark ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates a social commerce platform that allows users to create Pages, publish content, connect with other users, and purchase digital services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
a) Information You Provide Directly: Registration and profile information including first name, last name, username, email address, mobile number, password, PIN, recovery key, and referral code. Page information including Page name, handle, category, description, business phone number, email, website, location data (country, state, city), and educational affiliation. Content you create, including posts, photos, reposts, comments, likes, and profile images.
b) Communications Information: Messages, conversation metadata (sender, recipient, timestamps, read status, chat settings such as archived, pinned, muted, cleared), and related configuration. We access message content solely to deliver and display your conversations.
c) Financial and Transaction Information: We do not collect or store bank card details. Payments are made exclusively via bank transfer to your dedicated virtual account. Wallet services and virtual account provisioning are provided by Paystack. Users fund their wallet by transferring to their assigned Dedicated Virtual Account Number (Titan Bank via Paystack), after which the wallet balance is credited following Paystack webhook verification. We store your Paystack customer code, DVA number, bank name, wallet balance, commission balance, and shopping points balance. Transaction records including amount, reference, provider, service identifier, and recipient phone number for VTU purchases are retained for accounting.
d) Automatically Collected Information: Device information, IP address, browser type, online status, last seen timestamp, cookies (jwt_user, pinnamark_has_account), and usage data such as views and impressions.
We share information only as necessary:
We do not sell your personal information.
You have controls in Settings > Privacy to manage visibility of followers/following lists, who may message you, and who may find you via search. You may also archive, mute, clear, block, and manage conversations.
We retain your information while your account is active. Upon deactivation, your profile is hidden and may be reactivated on login. Upon deletion request, your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days, during which you may cancel. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
We use bcrypt hashing, HTTPS encryption, and webhook signature verification. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and request a portable copy of your personal data. You may exercise these via settings or by contacting us at privacy@pinnamark.com
